Traditional Japanese weapon as it has been used since ancient times, a Katana is also highly appraised as an art object due to its fabrication process carefully handled at the minimum details to guarantee its functionality, beauty and original values.

As a result, the Katana above is forged by hand and polished through twelve different processes in order to achieve the characteristics below:

•    Cut and resistance. Tested e approved in each cutting tests that it was submitted (Tameshigiri).

•    Balance between cut, edge resistance, weight and practicality.

•    Blade forged on 2048 Damascus Folded Steel, an advanced and traditional blade, particularly made for cuts and impacts. It is already sharp and ready to use responsibly and carefully.

•    Forged in the molds of feudal Japan, the components of this Katana are tightly fitted, providing stability and accuracy when it is handled.

Blade: Inspired from Feudal Japan and its ancient methods, the blade is forged by hand and polished through twelve different processes to guarantee its sharpening and resistance. Made of pure carbon steel.

Tsuba: Located above the Saya. It is a protection item of the Katana, which prevents the user from sliding user’s hands over the blade when handling it. Usually this component is made from a mix of metals and provides beauty to the sword through its rich and minimum details.

Habaki: Habaki is the blade necklace fixer. Consists in a wedge shaped piece of metal used to prevent the sword from falling out of its Saya. It is an aesthetic ornament and functional for ensuring the union of the saya and the sword, so it is normal if it gets scratched.

Hi: Groove in the part of the blade opposite the cuting edge. It was added to the blade in order to provide illuminate it and provide audible feedback during the practice. It also responsible for making the Katana lighter without prejudicing its stability and resistance (once some metal is removed from the blade, it becomes lighter).

Menuki: Embellishments on the handle, located on both sides.
