Description:

The blade of the Katana Rikai is meticulously hand-forged and polished through 12 distinct processes, resulting in exceptional quality. Sharp and resilient, it has successfully passed all cutting tests (Tameshigiri), demonstrating its effectiveness in both heavy and light cuts. Made from Damascus steel 2048, the blade is designed for intense cuts and impacts, combining the tradition of the molds of katanas from feudal Japan with modern precision. The full-tang blade extends into the handle, ensuring robust resistance and preventing any wobble during handling. Each katana is made and sharpened by hand, ensuring a precise fit of the parts.

• Blade Material: Carbon steel 1060 in the core (Shintetsu) + carbon steel 1075 folded 11 times, generating 2048 layers of Damascus steel around the core (Kawatetsu).
• Edge Condition: Sharpened through 12 sharpening processes.

• Blade: The blade of the Katana Rikai is hand-forged and polished with 12 distinct procedures, following an ancient method. The steel used is of extreme purity carbon, ensuring durability and superior performance.
• Tsuba: The tsuba, located above the saya, is decorated and made by metal fusion. It serves to protect the user's hand from slipping over the blade during use.
• Habaki (Blade Collar): A metal piece that joins the blade and the sheath, with aesthetic and functional purposes. Small scratches are normal and do not affect quality.
• Hi: The groove on the opposite side of the edge provides audible feedback during use and makes the sword lighter while maintaining its strength and stability.
• Menuki: Decorations on the handle, one on each side, add a touch of sophistication and enhance the aesthetics of the sword.

The crafting time for your personalized sword is approximately 15 days. After production, your sword will be shipped directly from Hong Kong, where our forge is located, using the best available air courier at the time.
